Ally's story is one of inspiration and resilience, and we
hope you'll find it inspiring. She was just seventeen years old when she had a
life-threatening car accident in the Florida Keys. She was a softball scholarship
candidate but was injured in the wreck. When she went to her college, she put
together a highlight video and applied to colleges. She even went to the
Tallahassee campus to see her sister, a high school student who played on the
basketball team.
A day after filming the segment, Ally Zink broke her leg
and had to be rushed to the Gold Coast Private Hospital for surgery. Her
friends flipped her over, but only after they realized she was seriously
injured that her limbs wouldn't move. Ally had suffered a spinal injury.
Luckily, she'd been trained to identify symptoms and rushed to the hospital,
where she underwent a thorough safety induction and hydrofoiling training.
Before the accident, Ally was traveling to practice with
her South Florida Pride team. She was riding in a convertible, and her friends
told her to slow down. She was traveling around five miles over the speed
limit, and she was unable to control her car. Ultimately, her car struck an
elevated railroad track and a telephone pole, sending her flying into the air.
The accident happened while she was on the phone with her friend.
Ally Zink's accident happened while she was heading to
practice with her South Florida Pride soccer team. She was with her friend,
Brittany Olsen. They had stopped to check the weather, but Ally's limbs
wouldn't move. Fortunately, their friends realized that it wasn't a prank and
turned her over. The incident left Ally with a spinal injury. The show was
canceled until she had her surgery, and Lelia McKinnon filled in for her.
Despite the incident, Ally's knee was not damaged. She'd
been preparing to shoot a water segment with her boyfriend Karl Stefanovic when
she fell and landed in a hidden crevasse. Ally was able to walk the next day,
but a sudden fall caused her knee to be injured. Ally and Karl were rescued by
helicopter, but their trip was cut short because of the emergency.
The actress and her partner, Karl Stefanovic, were filmed
at the Gold Coast. They were hydrofoiling with her boyfriend. Ally was joking
about her scar on her leg. The two were in Sydney for the television segment.
The episode was scheduled to air on Friday. The crew of "Survivor"
rushed to the scene to save Ally. It was the first time her two kids had ever
met.
After a six-day ascent of the Koyo Zom in Queensland,
Ally, and Karl Stefanovic were filming a segment on the water. However, Ally
Langdon had an accident while descending the glacier, and he was rushed to the
hospital with severe injuries. The show's producers said the episode would air
on Friday. Thankfully, they filmed it in the early hours of Saturday.
In the video, Ally praised Naomi Osaka for the way she
handled the French Open fans who threw rocks at the players. Willy Zink,
meanwhile, was not so lucky. Her father suffered a suspensory injury in his
right front leg, and they are both recovering from the accident. She and Willy
had a family of five. Her mother, Tracie, and sister, Katie, and Nicole, lived
in a house of five.
After an accident in which she landed on her head, Ally's
parents, and sisters have devoted their lives to the sport. During her
childhood, she was almost killed by a car, but her determination and strength
allowed her to recover. She has a mother and two sisters, and she was a good
role model for all of them. And she was a wonderful role model, and the world
will never forget her.
A road accident in May 2009 nearly claimed the lives of
her mother and her sister. Her injuries were not life-threatening, but Ally's
recovery has been anything but. Her goal is to be free of the canes she uses to
walk. But the road to the top is long and bumpy, so she is in constant need of
assistance. This is why she is so determined to get there. So, she can do it,
too.
